Silver maple is a common species in my area, it’s prized among woodturners because of how well it turns and the beautiful figure that is often found in the grain of the wood. It usually has a very light almost white color but can also range from yellows to dark browns.
This bowl has a medium figure with a little bit of burling on one side of the bowl wall. it measures in at 7”x2.25”
