English walnut is my personal favorite species of wood. I like everything about it, except that its not commercially available. I love the creamy brown color common with English walnut that gives projects a unique look and feel you cant get from other woods, while also being easy to work with and smelling great while you do it. unfortunately, in the United States it’s not commercially farmed and sold for lumber, so what limited lumber I have access to comes from my local area.
